Sworn & Sealed · Inclusive Readings

Your pronouns used exactly. Nothing made of it.

Every reading at this table, prepared for the people actually in it.

Every reading at Sworn & Sealed can be prepared through an inclusive intake that collects the pronouns of everyone in the reading and uses them exactly, without comment. It is available on all five reading types and at every depth, at no extra cost. It changes how your reading is written, never what you receive.

What actually changes

Four things, and nothing else. Your pronouns and your person's pronouns are used exactly as given. Attraction and distance are explained by element and modality rather than by gender. Court cards are read as registers of energy. And your relationship is read as a relationship, not as a subject.

Pronouns, used exactly

The intake asks how each person in the reading should be spoken of. Whatever you give is used with full confidence, through the written reading and the spoken audio alike, including neopronouns and any form you write in yourself. Nothing is ever inferred from a name.

If you and the person you are asking about share pronouns, names are used more often so that no sentence is ambiguous about who is meant. Ambiguity is solved with names, never by quietly re-gendering one of you.

No gender-role scripts

Astrology already explains attraction, pursuit, withdrawal and commitment without reaching for gender. When someone goes quiet, the reason is Fixed Water, not manhood. You will not find let him lead or the masculine and feminine dynamic between you in a reading from this table, because those are not readings. They are assumptions wearing a reading's clothes.

Court cards are registers, not genders

Kings, Queens, Knights and Pages describe registers of energy: mastery, emotional maturity, action, curiosity. They are not the genders of the people they represent. If your significator is the King of Wands you will be told so plainly, and it will be read for the command and creative fire it carries, with no apology for the tradition and no explanation you did not ask for.

Nothing is made of it

The most inclusive reading is one in which your relationship is simply the relationship being read. There is no congratulation, no love is love, no framing of your connection as brave or unusual or a subject in itself. You came for an answer. The answer is what you get.

Your reading will not assume a struggle

Coming out, family and faith are never introduced into a reading that did not raise them. If you bring them in your own note, they are read with care and without flinching. If you do not, your reading is about the thing you actually asked, exactly as it would be for anyone else at this table.

How to use the inclusive intake

  1. Choose your reading and its depth, and order through the shop as anyone would.
  2. Fill in the inclusive intake form in place of the standard one.
  3. Tell me how each person in the reading should be spoken of. Write in anything the list does not cover.
  4. Everything else runs exactly the same way, in the same window, for the same price.
The pronouns you give are intake details, used to write your reading correctly and nothing else. They are never quoted back to you, never remarked upon, never sold, never shared. Sworn & Sealed offers spiritual guidance and entertainment; readings are for personal reflection, and your own knowing is always the final word.
